Youth Rock Band
Beginners age 8-14 $90 for 4 classes per month
Thursdays 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Thursdays 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Beginners Welcome, No Experience needed! This class is designed to be a students’ first rock band experience or a supplement to taking lessons. Prior music knowledge is helpful but not necessary. Each session features new easy songs so it’s fun to do over and over!

White Stripes, Green Day, Imagine Dragons, The Black Keys, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, Joan Jett, Weezer, Nirvana, Survivor, Guns N Roses, AJR, Taylor Swift, Panic at the Disco and we are always adding more!
Don’t have equipment? We’ve got you covered. We have Guitars, Bass, Drums, Keys, Amps and Mics. You are welcome to bring your own guitar or bass if you want.
Rising Stars
Intermediate – ages 10-16 $100 for 4 classes per month
These intermediate classes dive deeper into what it’s really like to play in a band and perform on stage. Learn 2-3 songs each month as well as explore jamming, song structure, vocal harmonizing, what makes a style of music unique. Opportunities to perform are in June, September and December.
Classes meet same day each week. See below for current band openings

Classic Rock, Grunge, Funk Band – Meets Mondays 6:00pm – 7:00pm

*Guitar/Bass amps, Keyboard, Drum Set, Microphones are provided. Drummers should bring their own sticks and crash cymbals.
*Students should have at least 1 year of experience on their instrument and be able to learn and play a complete song. Most students will be in between beginner and intermediate levels. Also it is helpful, but not required, to have a basic understanding of open chords, power chords and some barre chords.
*It is highly recommended that students take private lessons while they are in a Rock Shop Band. Contact us if you need help finding a suitable lessons instructor.

Road Warriors
Performing Groups – Ages 12-17 and Adult $100 for 4 classes per month
This is the performance level of Rock Band Classes. Bands get more frequent gig opportunities, learn how to put together an exciting and engaging set list. The focus turns to performing at a high level and learning to become an entertainer, not just a musician. Bands are also given more freedom to write and record their own songs. Contact us to see if there are positions open or to audition your band.
$100 per month made easy with a PayPal subscription. No account needed, cancel at any time.
Refund Policy:
Due to the nature of this activity and limited class sizes there are no refunds. Please acknowledge all class times and performance dates before sign up. If Rock Shop is unable to place you in a band a full refund will be given. If, after you sign up and classes have NOT begun yet, you decide you are unable to or do not want to enroll in Rock Shop this session, you will receive a refund minus the deposit of $25. If classes have already begun and you for any reason decide not to continue with Rock Shop you do not receive any refund of any fees. Each band member is irreplaceable once the class has begun. Quitting early affects the other band members as well. For this reason there are No Exceptions. If there is a problem please contact us immediately and we can discuss another solution.
